As you may have already guessed, I am an avid cat lover!  I am a full time artist here in beautiful Hollis, New Hampshire, where I live and create my art with the assistance of my two furry kids, Max and Chloe.  Max is a fluffy tuxedo cat nut-case, and Chloe is an orange tabby princess! They act as my supervisors and love to offer advice and assistance whether I want it or not!  Max enjoys adding cat fur to freshly varnished pieces, while Chloe prefers stealing beads and running off with pieces of wire while I try to make earrings.  I enjoy working with cat fur...oops, I mean polymer clay, making jewelry, painting, digital art, needlework, wood working...and anything else I can learn!  My current favorite medium is polymer clay which I use to make my cat pins, cat earrings, and colorful messes on what used to be a good carpet....oops!  My other obsession is beads!   Small beads, big beads, glass beads, semiprecious beads, lampwork beads....beads, beads, beads!!!  I love them all!  

I started out doing my art part time, but in April 2005 I left my job (17 years at the same company was waaaay more than enough!) and am now pursuing my art full time!  I have degrees in business and graphic design and both have been very helpful in getting Arts & Cats started.
